Dr. Turner is thrilled to provide exceptional eye care to her hometown community of Redding, combining rigorous scientific training with deep local roots.

Clinical Profile & Experience
Dr. Turner’s journey began right here in Redding, where she was born, raised, and graduated from Shasta High School. Her passion for science led her to UC Davis to earn a degree in genetics, followed by a distinguished 15-year career as a research associate at Roche in Palo Alto. There, she contributed to cutting-edge drug discovery and pharmaceutical research.

Driven by a desire to apply her scientific experience to direct patient care, she returned to school and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious UC Berkeley School of Optometry. Today, she brings that powerful background in laboratory research and advanced clinical training back home to serve the neighbors she loves.

Outside the Clinic
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Turner remains actively engaged in the local community. She enjoys spending time with her husband, keeping up with their three adult children, and volunteering at Pathway Church. Her personal interests also include gardening and reading.
